Managing security settings
🔒 Managing Security Settings
Keeping your mTalim account secure is a top priority. Although mTalim currently offers basic security settings, here’s how you can manage them effectively:
🔑 1. Change Your Password
If you registered with a phone number or email (not a social login), you can change your password by:
-
Going to the Settings page
-
Selecting "Change Password"
-
Entering your current password and then your new password
⚠️ If you registered using Google, Apple, or Telegram, your password is managed by those platforms. To change it, you'll need to update it through their respective settings.
📱 2. Social Login Security
When you log in using Google, Apple, or Telegram:
-
mTalim does not store your password
-
All security is handled by the third-party provider
-
You should enable 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) on your Google or Apple account for added protection
📧 3. Account Recovery
If you lose access:
-
Use the "Forgot password?" option on the login page
-
Or log in using a linked Google, Telegram, or Apple account
